Audience
There are invited to participate young photographers, professionals and visual researchers interested in the role of photography and that of the photographer in the culture mediation.
It is also possible to participate into the workshop “Perspectives for a cultural mediation”, where a photographic research will be projected and developed along with the invited experts. There will be a selection of 12 participants. The results of the workshop will be part of a collective exhibition in 2008.

How to participate
Public audience:
October 23rd, 2007. Afternoon. Presentations and conferences offered by the invited experts Private Photoreview, Fotografi Senza Frontiere and the artist Olivo Barbieri.
Restricted audience:
October 23rd to 25th, 2007.
Workshop "Perspectives for a cultural mediation".
Pre-registration to the workshop:
1. Prepare a portfolio of photographs that belong to your personal work (max. 15 images) with the following parameters: 72 dpi, maximal size 1280 x 800 pixels, RGB modus, JPG format. Save each image as: name_lastname00.jpg. Example: victor_blanco01.jpg, victor_blanco02.jpg, victor_blanco03.jpg, etc. Send the portfolio to the email address: martha.jimenez@cuartel.de
2. Write a brief proposal of a project of visual research, to develop along with the invited experts during the workshop “Perspectives for a Cultural Mediation”. Every participant is responsible for the costs of production of his project.
3. Fullfill the pre-registration form (download it here), and save it as: name_lastname.pdf. Example: victor_blanco.pdf.
The written proposal will be included in the pre-registration form.
4. The deadline to send the pre-registration form is October 8th, 2007, to the email address: martha.jimenez@cuartel.de
About selection:
a. There will be a selection of 12 participants.
b. Members of the jury will be academics, curators and professional figures of the sector.
c. Notification will be sent to your email address.
